Under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan package of Rs 1.70 lakh crore, 42 crore poor have received financial assistance of Rs 53,248 crore. According to the Finance Ministry, as part of this package, the government paid free grain and cash to women, poor, senior citizens and farmers. The Finance Ministry also said that public sector banks have already approved loans of Rs 10,361.75 crore under the 100% Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme. Out of this, Rs 3,892.78 crore has already been disbursed.

Explain that under the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan), 8.19 crore beneficiaries were paid a total of Rs 16,394 crore as the first installment by May 5, 2020. Financial assistance of Rs 2,000 was delivered directly to their accounts. Similarly, 10,025 crore rupees were sent to the account of 20.05 crore women Jan Dhan account holders as the first installment of 500 rupees. Out of this, about 8.72 crore women Jan Dhan account holders have withdrawals from the accounts. At the same time, a total of Rs 2,785 crore was sent to the account of 5.57 crore women Jan Dhan account holders.
