Officials said on Wednesday that all the formalities are nearing completion. Air India is likely to be handed over to the group on Thursday. Meanwhile, two airline pilot unions, the Indian Pilots Guild (IPG) and the Indian Commercial Pilots Association (ICPA), have warned Air India Chairman and Managing Director Vikram Dev Dutt of legal action. The reason for this is estimated to be multiple deductions and recovery on the dues of the pilots.

Apart from this, two other unions have opposed the company’s January 20 order to measure the body mass index (BMI) of crew members at airports just before their flights.
