JIO announces free domestic voice call with IUC system over

With the end of the interconnect usage charge (IUC) system for domestic voice calls, Reliance Jio said on Thursday that all calls to other networks from its network in India are free from January 1, 2021. According to a statement, according to the instructions of the telecom regulator, ‘Bill and Keep’ system is being implemented in the country from January 1, 2021, which will eliminate the IUC charges for all domestic voice calls. The company continued, “As soon as the IUC charges are over, Jio will once again free all off-net domestic voice calls, fulfilling its commitment to return non-domestic home voice call charges to zero.” The beginning will be from 1 January 2021. On-net domestic voice calls have always been free on Jio network. ”
