OPPO announced the A57 today in Bangalore, a new entry-level device that gives users a flagship-level 16 MP front camera for the incredible price of Rs. 14,990 and will be available on all leading store and online sites starting February 3.
The phone was first launched in China in November at a price of 1599 Yaun which is approximately Rs. 16,000 in India. The phone is available in two colour variants Gold and Rose Gold.

The 16 MP Front Camera Phone Oppo A57 comes with a 5.2-inch Gorilla glass display having 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. The 1.4 GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 Processor with Adreno 505 GPU is the highlight of the phone. The phone is also backed by 3GB Ram and 32 internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB using a MicroSD card. Oppo A57 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Oppo’s customised OS version ColorOS 3.0.
The Oppo A57 has a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF and LED flashlight features. The phone has 2900 mAh battery and also supports the LTE connectivity band. The phone has a thickness of 7.7 MM and weigh 147 gms.
Oppo last launched the F1S smartphone in India. F1S is also a selfie-focussed smartphone with 13 MP rear camera and 16 MP selfie-shooter.
