According to experts, the price of petrol and diesel may increase further due to the rise in the price of crude oil.

Petrol price increases
According to information received from IOCL, the price of petrol has increased from 21 paise per liter to 24 paise per liter for the second consecutive day today. After the increase of 23 paise per liter in Delhi and Mumbai, the prices have gone up to Rs 84.20 and Rs 90.83 per liter respectively. There has been an increase of 24 paise per liter in Kolkata and 21 paise in Chennai. After which the prices in both the metros have gone up to Rs 85.68 and Rs 86.96 per liter respectively.
