Bhagyalaxmi Scheme Karnataka: Bhagyalaxmi Scheme was launched by the Government of Karnataka. This is an ambitious plan for an economically weaker family. The government had launched this scheme to promote female education and to improve the proportion of girls (Bhagyalaxmi Scheme For Girls). The scheme aims to stop female feticide, promote the birth of daughters and empower women. Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided by the government for girls’ education from the birth of their daughter. The purpose of this plan is that no one should consider their daughters as a burden, but should think of making their future bright.
Karnataka Bhagyalaxmi Scheme Benefits
Under the Karnataka Bhagyalakshmi scheme, the daughter gets health insurance cover up to a maximum of Rs 25,000 a year. Apart from this, an annual scholarship of Rs 300 to Rs 1,000 is given till class X. Financial assistance is provided to promote the birth of girls in economically weaker families. In case of accident, the parents get Rs 1 lakh and for the natural death of the beneficiary Rs 42,500. 34,751 will be paid when you are 18 years old.
Annual scholarship in Karnataka Bhagyalakshmi Yojana
Under this scheme, Rs 300 is given annually from first to third grade, 500 for fourth grade, 600 in fifth, 700 in sixth and seventh, Rs 800 for eighth grade, 1000 rupees for ninth and tenth grade.
