After doing this, an OTP will appear on your registered mobile number. The verification process will be completed as soon as it is inserted. After this, your Aadhaar will be linked to the account by submitting.

How to get 5 thousand rupees
To avail the facility of overdraft, the PMJDY account should be linked to the Aadhaar card. While withdrawing money, there may be zero balance in the account, but there should be enough money in the account holder’s account till 6 months before that. Also, the account should be transacted from time to time. RuPay debit cards are issued to such account holders, which can be easily used for transactions.

Procedure for opening Jan Dhan account
To open a new Jan Dhan account, take a form from the nearest bank. Now fill in the name, mobile number, bank branch name, applicant address, nominee, business / employment and annual income and dependents number, SSA code or ward number, village code or town code etc. Now submit the Aadhar card or passport or driving license or PAN card, Voter card, NREGA job card, letter issued with authorization, with name, address and Aadhaar number, by attested photocopy by the gazetted officer along with this form. If you want to convert any of your old bank account into Jan Dhan account then you have to go to the bank branch and apply for RuPay card.
