The 24-carat gold rate is seeing a rise of Rs 425 this morning. While the price of 23 carat gold has risen by Rs 423 to Rs 47240 per ten grams today, while 22 carat gold is being sold at the rate of Rs 43446. While the price of 18 carat gold is Rs 35573. At the same time, silver has become expensive by Rs 575 per kg and has reached Rs 48395.

According to Rajesh Khosla, media in-charge of the India Bullion and Jewelers Association, Delhi, ibja shows the average price of gold and silver from 14 centers across the country. Khosla says that the current rate of gold-silver or, say, the spot price may be different at different places but there is a slight difference in their prices.
