Government’s gift to farmers before Diwali! 14 crore farmers will get subsidy on fertilizer
new Delhi. Before Diwali, the central government has given a big gift to the farmers. The Center has announced a third relief package, and announced a subsidy on fertilizer to farmers. This will benefit about 14 crore farmers. The government has said to provide Rs 65,000 crore as fertilizer subsidy. This information was given by Minister of State for Finance Anurag Thakur.

Due to the subsidy on fertilizer, farmers across the country will be able to get fertilizer easily at affordable prices. This will reduce the cost of farming. Income will also increase. Under the scheme, farmers will be provided with good quality fertilizer. The government has taken this decision to give relief to the farmers. Following the new directive, the government exemption to fertilizer companies will be scrapped. Now the farmers will get direct benefit of the government scheme.
Migrant laborers also benefit
Under the Self-Reliant India Package, steps were also taken by the government for the benefit of migrant laborers. The main purpose in this was to provide them employment. According to the Finance Minister, under the ECLGIS scheme, 61 lakh migrants have got the benefit of the scheme. About 1.52 lakh crore rupees have been distributed so far. While a loan of 2.05 lakh crore rupees has been approved. In future also, such efforts will be continued by the government for the needy.
