New Delhi. Indian companies will increase the salaries of their employees by around 7.7 percent in the year 2021. This has been claimed in a poll on Tuesday. Global professional services company Aon said this in its latest report on wage growth in India on Tuesday. The survey covered the opinions of more than 1,200 companies from 20 industry sectors. 88 percent of the companies surveyed said they intend to increase the salaries of their employees in 2021.

Nitin Sethi, Aon’s performance and reward business partner and CEO (CEO) in India, said that we are expecting to see the pace of 2021 increments going on longer, given the uncertainty and potential impact of the upcoming changes. .

According to the survey, there are signs of strong improvement in salary increase in India as compared to many other strong countries. The report said that despite the stringent lockdown imposed in the troubled 2020, it is most likely among the BRIC countries (Brazil, Russia, India and China) to hike salaries in India.
