Market Live: Stock market welcomed by unlock 1.0, Sensex-Nifty jumped

The stock market opened strongly on Monday, June 8, the first trading day of the second week of June. Bombay Stock Exchange 30-share sensitive index Sensex today with a jump of 553.93 points 34,841.17 At the level of NSE, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange also started the day’s business with a green mark. On Friday, the Sensex closed up at 34,287.24 with a jump of 306.54 points, while the Nifty also rose 113.05 (1.13%) to 10,142.15.

9:26 pm: The Sensex is trading at 34,839.33 levels with a gain of 1.61%. The Sensex has gained 552.09 points so far. The Nifty is up 157.90 (1.56%) points at 10,300.05. IndusInd Bank is at the top in the Nifty Top Gainer, while Tata Motors, Axis Bank, Titan, Bajaj Finance are also seen in other stocks. On the other hand, Sun Pharma, Vedanta, Cipla, Doctor Reddy’s shares are trading at a loss.

Market capitalization of 10 companies increased by Rs 2.46 lakh crore

The market capitalization (market cap) of the top 10 Sensex companies increased by Rs 2.46 lakh crore last week. Reliance Industries was the biggest gainer. The 30-share BSE Sensex gained 1,863.14 points or 5.74 percent in the previous week. During the week, the market capitalization of Reliance Industries increased by Rs 73,156.71 crore to Rs 10,02,006.10 crore. HDFC Bank’s market valuation rose by Rs 46,036.95 crore to Rs 5,67,697.09 crore and Kotak Mahindra Bank increased by Rs 30,888.39 crore to Rs 2,65,080.63 crore.

These companies also became rich

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) rose to Rs 28,724.5 crore to Rs 7,68,525.91 crore and HDFC to Rs 18,524.25 crore to Rs 3,05,931.57 crore. The market valuation of Bharti Airtel increased by Rs 17,730.56 crore to Rs 3,19,095.55 crore and ICICI Bank by Rs 16,301.38 crore to Rs 2,31,330.39 crore.

Hindustan Unilever (HUL) saw a rise in market capitalization of Rs 7,136.01 crore during the week to Rs 4,90,398.08 crore. Similarly, the market capitalization of Infosys increased by Rs 5,281.3 crore to Rs 2,99,734.72 crore. ITC’s market valuation rose by Rs 3,073.05 crore to Rs 2,45,783.16 crore. Reliance Industries retained the first position in the list of top 10 companies. It was followed by TCS, HDFC Bank, HUL, Bharti Airtel, HDFC, Infosys, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ITC and ICICI Bank respectively.
