Fuel Price Today: The prices of petrol and diesel did not change even on Sunday. Earlier this week, the Delhi government reduced VAT on petrol from 30 per cent to 19.40 per cent. After which on Thursday, a reduction of Rs 8.56 per liter was recorded in the price of petrol in the national capital. Now the price of petrol is stable at Rs 95.41 per liter, whereas earlier it was Rs 103.97 per liter. On the other hand, there is no change in the prices of diesel and it remains stable at Rs 86.67 per liter.

Petrol in Mumbai is being sold at a price of Rs 109.98 per liter, while diesel is priced at Rs 94.14 per litre. Mumbai has the highest fuel rates among the metropolitan cities. Due to VAT, different prices of petrol and diesel are being charged in the states.

Chennai: Petrol – Rs 101.40 per liter; Diesel – ₹91.43 per liter
Fuel rates are revised on a daily basis keeping in view the crude oil prices and rupee-dollar exchange rates in the international markets. Any change in the prices of petrol and diesel is effective from 6 am every day.
