According to information received from IOCL, the price of petrol has increased from 22 paise to 24 paise per liter in all the four metros of the country. While the price of petrol has increased by 23 paise per liter in Kolkata and Mumbai. After which the price has been increased to Rs 92.67 and Rs 98.88 per liter. There has been an increase of 22 paise per liter in Chennai, after which the price has been increased to Rs 94.31 per liter.

Increase in the price of diesel
According to information received from IOCL, the price of diesel has increased from 26 paise to 29 paise per liter in all the four metros of the country. Delhi, the capital of the country, has increased by 27 paise per liter. After this, the price of diesel in both metros has been increased to Rs 83.22 and Rs 86.06 per liter respectively. While Mumbai has increased by 29 paise and Chennai by 26 pao per liter, after which the price has been increased to Rs 90.40 and Rs 88.07 per liter.

How expensive petrol and diesel became in May
In four days, the price of petrol and diesel has increased by more than Rs 1.75 per liter. First of all, petrol has seen an increase of Rs 2.18 per liter in Delhi, Rs 2.05 in Kolkata, Rs 2.05 in Mumbai and Rs 1.90 per liter in Chennai. Whereas diesel has seen a lot of increase. Diesel has increased by Rs 2.49 in Delhi, Rs 2.45 in Kolkata, Rs 2.59 in Mumbai and Rs 2.32 per liter in Chennai.
