Records made in the stock market today, Sensex-Nifty touched all-time high.

Stock Market Updates : Today every record has been broken in the domestic stock markets. On Friday, both the benchmark indices have reached their all-time high. The rise in metal stocks has given tremendous rise to the market. Nifty has touched the record of 15,800 for the first time today. At the same time, the Sensex has also reached its highest record above 52,500.

At 10.23 in the morning, the Sensex gained 267.56 points, or 0.51%, and the index was trading at its record high level of 52,568.03. On the other hand, Nifty was at the level of 15,814.90. The index gained 77.15 points or 0.49% during this period.

In the opening, the Sensex opened at the level of 52528.48 with a jump of 228.01 points i.e. 0.44% and the Nifty opened at the level of 15811.00 with a gain of 73.20 points or 0.47%. About 1667 shares rose in the opening, while 294 shares fell, while 47 shares did not register any change. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 27 stocks were open with gains. In the early trade, except the Consumer Durable Index, all Sensex indices were trading in the green.

In the early trade, the Sensex gained the most by two percent in PowerGrid. Apart from this, Reliance Industries, ONGC, HCL Tech, Sun Pharma, Infosys and HDFC also gained.

On the other hand, Bajaj Finserv, HUL, Bajaj Finance, Titan and Tech Mahindra were trading in the red. In the previous session, the Sensex was up 358.83 points or 0.69 per cent at 52,300.47 and the Nifty was up 102.40 points or 0.65 per cent at 15,737.75. Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) bought shares worth Rs 1,329.70 crore on a gross basis on Thursday, according to provisional data from the stock market.

Meanwhile, international oil benchmark Brent crude was trading 0.55 per cent lower at $72.12 per barrel.
