In such a situation, passengers do not need to go to the counter. According to the Railway Board, 100 waiting lists in AC 3 tier and 50 tickets in AC 2 tier can be booked in waiting list quota. In addition, the board has earmarked 200 waiting tickets for the sleeper class.
