New Delhi. Startup Unnati, a startup selling agri inputs and agricultural produce, has launched the first-of-its-kind digital integrated card linked to its platform with the aim of helping farmers grow income and includes purchasing seeds, fertilizers and pesticides. This card, launched in partnership with Paytm Bank, will enable farmers to reach a larger market to gain their agricultural inputs.

Will help in increasing income
This newly launched card will help farmers increase their net income by reducing the cost of seed fertilizer and facilitating them to sell their farm produce at good prices. In addition, the card will allow farmers to get real-time updates in every aspect, including a pay-out to avail better lending rates conveniently and seamlessly.

Rs 250 will have to be paid
The card requires farmers to pay Rs 250 as an advance, a one-time charge authorized by the RBI. The card will facilitate farmers to use other services for free. In terms of the benefit that farmers get from this, they will be able to recoup it in the first two months of the issue of the card.

The card will motivate farmers to increase their habit of saving, help them make better decisions about advanced farming methods, and produce better yields in quality and quantity. This will save the farmers from getting stuck in debt trap and facilitate better agriculture in the country.
