Microsoft Surface Laptop 6, Surface Pro 9, and Surface Studio 2 Plus Announced

Microsoft arranged an online launch event in which it announced three of its latest surface devices, the latest updates for Windows 11 and much more. The key highlight of the event was Surface Pro 9 which comes in both ARM and Intel variants. Microsoft also shared about solidifying Windows 11’s ARM support which would resolve issues about applications running issue on Windows 11.

Microsoft released Surface Studio 2 Plus which is somehow an updated version of Studio 2 that launched back in 2018 with updates in Thunderbolt ports and high-end graphics performance. Let’s have a look at some of the features of these latest devices.

Surface 9 Pro

This is looking like the most significant update from Microsoft as the surface 9 Pro comes in both ARM and Intel-based variants of the new Surface 9 Pro model. If you want a performance laptop with good colour options, this machine is built for you with new colour options, with matching Type Cover keyboards as well. 5G is available in a few cities in India and this new Surface Pro 9 comes with Qualcomm SQ3 and it comes with support for 5G connectivity as well.

Coming on its Screen Surface 9 pro shows up 13-inch PixeSense Flow Display (2880 x 1920 px; 3:2 aspect) with support for a 120Hz refresh rate, compatible with the Surface Slim Pen 2. Configuration options are also available with a 12th Gen Intel Core i5-1235U or a Core i7-1255U processor.

Surface Studio 2 Plus

Surface Studio 2 Plus is similar to its previous version in terms of looks but there are several changes in internal hardware. Surface Studio 2 Plus comes with 1th Gen Intel i7-11370H processor and the mobile version of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 with 6GB of dedicated video memory. 32GB of DDR4 RAM and 1TB of storage are one of the highlights of this beast machine.

The display department of the device is also pretty interesting as it comes with a 28-inch Pixel Sense display that supports both sRGB and DCI-P3 colour spaces, and it features an aspect ratio of 3:2 with a resolution of 4500 x 3000 px. Surface Studio 2 plus box also includes a Surface Pen, Surface Keyboard, Surface Mouse, and Power cord.

Surface Laptop 5

When it comes to laptops Microsoft has come up with changes in processors on its latest Surface Laptop 5. Surface Laptop 5 will come in The 13.5-inch model comes with either Intel Core i5-1235U or the Intel Core i7-1255U processors and the 15-inch version only comes in a Core i7-1255U configuration. There are three ram options 8GB, 16GB or 32GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of internal storage. 13.5 Inches will give you a battery backup of  18 hours and 15-inches will give you a battery backup of around 17 hours.

All these devices will be available to you by 25th October and Microsoft has also introduced its Microsoft Audio Dock which comes with a 20W speaker and a 5W subwoofer and omnidirectional microphones which you can use in your meetings.
