Vivo launched another series of smartphone for the selfie-obsessed users. The Chinese technology company revealed Vivo V5 Plus on January 23 at a cost of Rs 27,980. The mobile, which will be available for sale online and retail shops from February 1, can be pre-booked till January 31.
Vivo V5 Plus has Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 2.0GHz octa-core processor with 4GB RAM and a non-expandable storage capacity of 64GB. It has 5.5 inch IPS LCD display with 1920 X 1080 resolution and Corning® Gorilla® Glass 5 touch screen which makes the phone weigh 158.6g and has been added for tougher screen protection. For smooth functioning of the phone, Vivo V5 Plus has been supported with the Funtouch OS 3.0 operating system, an updated version of Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The USP of V5 Plus is the camera. The dual front camera has 20-megapixel primary lenses combined with 8-megapixel lenses to create bokeh effect to give the customer an experience of professional photography. The bokeh mode blurs the background and sharpens the features of the focused object. Hence, in this case, it allows enhancing your features in the selfie and blurs the background. Through this effect, one can also highlight an object after taking the picture. It also has moonlight glow feature like Vivo V5, launched in November 2016. The rear camera supports 16-megapixel assuring better quality images.
Vivo V5 Plus has 3055 mAh battery and fingerprint recognition technology on the front screen to unlock the phone in 2 seconds. It also has smart slip feature that splits the screen into two parts and gives you the liberty to view and reply to text messages while watching videos. The eye protection mode helps the user in smooth reading. The dual-SIM phone has a metallic body with all the basic connectivity features and is compatible with the 4G network.
