Express your story in every selfie frame with Vivo’s latest launch V5 with 20MP front camera. Launched on Tuesday in Mumbai, V5 targets the young selfie aficionados by providing a perfect combination of technology and design.
The mobile was launched in the presence of Director Kabir Khan, Vivo India CEO Kent Cheng and Vivo India CMO Vivek Zhang. While interacting during the event, Khan shared that seeing the craze for selfie he had kept the song ‘Chal Beta Selfie Le Le Re’ in his last blockbuster film ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. He said that Vivo’s V5 is likely to bring revolution in the smartphone industry due to its 20-megapixel front camera.
Vivo V5 has a Moonlight Glow feature in the front camera that helps the users to click perfect selfie under any lighting form. It will permit the users to capture every frame perfectly without making them grainy, distorted or flooded with hard flash. The device has 13MP in the back camera and is a 4G compatible device.
The sleek phone runs on Funtouch OS 2.6 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is paired with 4 GB RAM and 32 GB ROM, which is expandable up to 128 GB. The Octa-core 64-bit processor enables a user to achieve lag-free and smooth operations while gaming and multitasking. V5 also has an Eye Protection Mode feature that sorts out blue light to protect vision and prevents eye strain. Vivo V5 has a 5.5 HD display with the resolution of 1280×720 pixels and 2.5D corning gorilla glass.
The smartphone has created a benchmark as it has a faster fingerprint unlocking that unlocks the screen in just 0.2 seconds. The Multi-tasking feature gives the users liberty to access messages and watch videos simultaneously. Now no going back-and-forth for reading messages or chatting. Music lovers can enjoy their favourite songs V5’s custom built Hi-Fi audio clip.
In a time span of two years, Vivo has succeeded in creating a niche in the smartphone market. It has over 33,000 outlets in 22 states. Conversing at the event, Kent Cheng said, “V5 comes with the first-ever 20 MP front camera that creates flawless pictures in naturally vivid colours. We are sure that our new offering is all set to create a new benchmark and will be widely accepted by customers and redefine the selfie experience.”
Vivo V5 price in India is ₹17,890 and will be available from November 26 onwards. The company has also started pre-order booking from today.
