Petrol in Chennai remains at Rs 101.40 and diesel at Rs 91.43 per liter and in Kolkata at Rs 89.79 and petrol at Rs 104.67 per liter.
On the other hand, the Punjab government has cut petrol prices by Rs 10 and diesel by Rs 5. Announcing the cut, the Chief Minister of Punjab said that this has not happened in the last 70 years.
