Big news for Punjab National Bank customers, rules related to checkbook will change from April 1 1

New Delhi. Punjab National Bank is one of the second largest banks in the country. This bank has issued a special notice for its account holders. Under this information, this bank has given instructions to change the old IFSC code (IFSC) and MIRC code (MICR) by 31 March. If the customer who does not follow these issued instructions, then that customer will not be able to transact money through online methods. The bank has disclosed this with its official Twitter account. The bank has appealed to all the account holders to change their IFSC code and MICR code at the earliest.

Let us tell you that the Central Government merged the Oriental Bank of Commerce and United Bank of India with Punjab National Bank last year. After which the customers of these banks have now been asked to take a new checkbook and IFSC and MICR code. The bank has tweeted that OBC and United Bank of India customers take the old checkbook and IFSC and MICR code before 31 March.
