As per the reply received from MTNL General Manager (West), security deposit of Rs 3,53,14,466 has been refunded to 24,266 customers who returned the connection between January 1, 2015 to May 31, 2021 in West Zone. It has not returned the security deposit to 3,721 consumers. In a reply issued by MTNL General Manager (East/TY), it has been informed that Rs 4,52,21,507 has been returned as security deposit to 28,923 customers who returned the connection between January 2015 and May 2021.
