Experts believe that Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman may take a decision in her interest in the upcoming budget with a view to please the farmers who are protesting against the agricultural law.

It may be known that in the initial phase, the budget of Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme was about 1.51 lakh crores. Later, it was marginally increased to Rs 1.55 lakh crore. Although this was not enough for the farmers, they were demanding that the budget be increased. Farmers say that it costs about 3.30 to 5000 thousand to plant a paddy crop in 1 acre of land. At the same time, it takes 2 to 2.5 thousand rupees to sow wheat. In such a situation, the amount of money given by the government every month is not enough.

Who gets the benefit of PM Kisan Yojana
PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is a 100 percent fund scheme of the Central Government. It was launched in December 2018. Small and marginal farmers are given benefits in this. The government has so far transferred Rs 18000 crore to the accounts of about 9 crore farmers, so far farmers have received the seventh installment.
