Kanya Sumangala Yojana: The central and state governments are running various schemes to promote the education of daughters. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Kanya Sumangala Yojana (Kanya Sumangala Yojana For Daughter) was launched to improve the education and health of girls. Under this scheme, the state government helps girls in different phases for a total of Rs 15,000. The objective of this scheme is that no one should consider their daughters as a burden, but should think of making their future bright.
Benefits of Kanya Sumangala Scheme
Under the Kanya Sumangala Yojana, the state government bears the education of the daughters. This includes Rs 2000 at birth, Rs 1000 for completion of one year vaccination, Rs 2000 at the time of admission in class-1, Rs 2000 at the time of admission to class-6, Rs 3000 at the time of admission to class-9 and tenth and twelfth 5000 will be given in lump sum upon passing the examination and taking admission in degree or diploma course of two years or more. In this way a total of 15 thousand rupees are given.
Who will benefit (Kanya Sumangala Yojana Eligibility)
The benefit of Kanya Sumangala Yojana will be given only to the native residents of Uttar Pradesh. Also, the annual income of the family should be a maximum of three lakh or less. Maximum two girls of a family will get the benefit of this scheme. If a woman gives birth to twins at the time of her second delivery, the third girl will also be eligible for the scheme.

For Kanya Sumangala Yojana, one can apply online at mksy.up.gov.in. For this, parents will have to give the necessary information including Aadhaar card, ration card, income certificate, bank account, mobile number.
