In July, the company had launched grocery delivery service under a marketplace model, through which customers could order goods online from shops located in their vicinity.

Apart from Zomato, there is also another online food delivery platform company Swiggy, which provides online grocery delivery service. At the same time, there is another platform called Dunzo, which is popular in this segment. Both these platforms give delivery in 15-20 minutes. Their business model is also different as they manage their own warehousing etc. So Zomato has also decided not to focus on in-house delivery.
