After this, the price of diesel in Mumbai metros has been increased by Rs 91 per liter. Surprisingly, WTI crude oil is down over 2 per cent to $ 62, while Brent crude oil is trading at $ 65 a barrel.
Increase in the price of petrol
According to information received from IOCL, the price of petrol has increased from 17 paise to 19 paise per liter in all the four metros of the country. Petrol prices in the two metros have risen to Rs 93.04 and Rs 93.11 per liter, respectively, after the increase in the price of petrol by 19 paise per liter in Delhi and Kolkata. While the price of petrol in Mumbai has increased by 18 paise per liter and the price has been increased to Rs 99.32 per liter. At the same time, after the increase of 17 paise per liter in Chennai, the price has been increased to Rs 94.71 per liter.
Increase in the price of diesel
According to information received from IOCL, the price of diesel has increased from 28 paise to 30 paise per liter in all the four metros of the country. The country’s capital Delhi and Kolkata have increased by 29 paise per liter. After which the price of diesel in both metros has been increased to Rs 83.80 and Rs 86.64 per liter respectively. While Mumbai has increased by 30 paise and Chennai by 28 paise per liter, after which the price has been increased to Rs 91.01 and Rs 88.61 per liter.
How expensive petrol and diesel became in May
In the month of May, the price of petrol and diesel has increased by more than Rs 3.20 per liter. First of all, petrol has seen an increase of Rs 2.64 per liter in Delhi, Rs 2.49 in Kolkata, Rs 2.49 in Mumbai and Rs 2.31 per liter in Chennai. Whereas diesel has seen a lot of increase. Diesel has increased by Rs 3.07 in Delhi, Rs 3.03 in Kolkata, Rs 3.20 in Mumbai and Rs 2.87 per liter in Chennai.
