Bittrex which recently rolled out the USD trading pair for selected corporate and personal customers in phased manner has now announced the USD trading pair for ETC and XRP.
Newly trading pair will be available to trade from 20th August to qualified customer only. Previously the users on Bittrex were able to trade Bitcoin, Tether and TrueUSD against the US dollar. Bittrex also added that they will bring the USD trading pair to other top cryptocurrencies soon. The exchange is taking the measured approach before rolling out the feature to all its customer stated in the blog article.
The exchange have also shared the links of a form for corporate and personal customers. Corporate customers may apply for USD trading by completing this request form, and personal account customers may apply by completing the following form.
This is a positive development from the Bittrex exchange after the Bitcoin ETF rejection news on Wednesday, which led the bitcoin market drop by $9 billion in value. While creating this post the bitcoin price dropped by 11.54% in last 24hr, trading at just $6,302 per BTC.
This is VanEck’s third attempt to push a bitcoin ETF through, having been rejected by the SEC twice previously. On this occasion, the SEC said that it is pushing out its decision until September 30.
