Buillion Rates: On Wednesday, gold fell marginally by Rs 38 to Rs 47,576 per 10 grams in Sarafa Bazar in the national capital. According to HDFC Securities, prices of precious metals were affected due to the improvement in the value of the rupee. In the last trading session, gold had closed at Rs 47,614 per 10 grams. Let us know that in August 2020, gold was at an all-time high level. At that time the price per 10 grams was Rs 56,200, since then the price of gold has fallen by about 8,000 rupees.

At the same time, silver fell by Rs 783 to Rs 68,884 per kg gram after Wednesday’s trading session. It was at Rs 69,667 per kg in the previous trading session.

HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said, “Due to the improvement in the value of the rupee, the spot price of 24-carat gold in Delhi showed a slight decline of Rs. 38.”

Meanwhile, the rupee strengthened by three paise to close at 72.84 against the US dollar on Wednesday. In the international market, gold gained US $ 1,843 an ounce and silver was also up at $ 27.31 an ounce.
Patel said that due to the expectation of US stimulus and the fall in the dollar, gold prices were strong, due to which the price remained above $ 1,840.
