New Delhi. HDFC Bank, the country’s largest private bank, has given a big relief to customers by making a big announcement on Saturday. The bank said that it has deployed mobile ATMs across India to assist customers during lockdowns at several places in view of the corona virus. The statement issued by the private sector bank said that with this facility people will be able to withdraw cash from the mobile ATM van near the house. With this, they will not be at risk of infection of Kovid-19 and will be able to get bank facility from home.
15 types of transactions can be done
Throughout the day, these mobile ATMs will go to different parts of cities and will stop there till the scheduled time. Through these, 15 types of transactions can also be done. The bank said that during the lockdown last year, HDFC Bank had successfully deployed mobile ATMs in more than 50 cities and helped deliver cash to millions of customers. The mobile ATM will cover three to four stops in a day.
Facility will be available near home
HDFC Bank Group Head of Liability Products, Third Party Products and Non-Resident Business Affairs. Sampat Kumar has confirmed this. The bank has hoped that their mobile ATMs will provide a greater facility for those who want to avail basic financial services without going away from their homes. Sampat Kumar said that this service will also be of great help to all the health workers and other essential service providers who are working tirelessly to tackle the epidemic.
