Earlier in the first two months of this year, there was a tremendous increase in petrol and diesel. In one and a half months, the price of diesel was increased for 25 days. In February alone, petrol and diesel prices were increased for a total of 16 days.

Talking about Mumbai, petrol is being sold at Rs 96.83 per liter and diesel is selling at Rs 87.81 per liter. Petrol in Chennai is being sold at Rs 92.43 per liter and diesel 85.75 per liter. In Kolkata, petrol is priced at Rs 90.62 and diesel is priced at Rs 83.61 per liter.
