After this, the national capital Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai came to Rs 85.20, 86.63 and 91.80 rupees per liter respectively. Whereas in Chennai, the price was increased to Rs 87.85 per liter with an increase of 22 paise per liter.

No change in diesel price
On the other hand, the price of diesel has been continuously getting relief for two days. The price has come to a halt after the price of diesel crossed Rs 75 in the country’s capital, Delhi. According to the information received from IOCL, the price of diesel has been stable for the second consecutive day in the four metros of the country. On Tuesday, the price of diesel was increased by 25 paise per liter in Delhi and Kolkata. After which the prices in both metros were Rs 75.38 and Rs 78.97 per liter respectively. On the other hand, Mumbai saw an increase of 26 paise and Chennai 24 paise per liter, after which the prices in both metros came to Rs 82.13 and Rs 80.67 per liter respectively.

How much increase in the month of January
In the first month of 2021, petrol and diesel prices have become more expensive than Rs 1.50 per liter. First, if you talk about diesel, then it has increased by Rs 1.51 in Delhi, Rs 1.53 in Kolkata, Rs 1.62 in Mumbai and 1.46 paise per liter in Chennai. On the other hand, the price of petrol has increased by Rs 1.49 in Delhi, Rs 1.43 in Kolkata, Rs 1.46 in Mumbai and Rs 1.35 per liter.
