Stock Market Updates : The stock market has become a victim of lethargy since yesterday. On Wednesday, the stock market is trading with a decline. Both the benchmark indices opened with a fall in the opening amid mixed global cues. Today’s Sensex fell 104.27 points to 51,830.61 in early trade, Nifty fell 23.20 points to 15,551.65. There. The rupee fell by 26 paise to 73.16 against the US dollar in early trade.

At 11.06 in the morning, the Sensex was trading at the level of 51,637.41 with a fall of 297.47 points i.e. 0.57%. At the same time, a loss of 64.85 points has been recorded in Nifty and the index was trading at the level of 15,510.00.

Trading was being done in 11 sectors on the National Stock Exchange with a fall in 6 sectors. At the same time, there was a decline of 1 percent in the IT sector. Nifty Bank, Financial, FMCG and Private Banking stocks were also in decline. Buying interest was shown in auto, metal, pharma and real estate.

Today Tech Mahindra, Wipro, HDFC, HCL Tech, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Infosys, ICICI Bank, TCS, Axis Bank, Tata Consumer Products, Titan, Asian Paints declined. While Adani Ports, JSW Steel, Coal India, Cipla, Shree Cement, Tata Steel, Power Grid and SBI Life were among the gainers.

In Tuesday’s closing, the Sensex closed at the level of 51934.88, down 2.56 points and the Nifty was down at 15574.90 level, down 7.90 points. Buying was seen in IT, Energy and Infra sectors, while Auto, Metal and Banking sectors closed in the red.
