What is the matter
In fact, like every time under the Provident Fund Organization (EPFO), the working employees are going to get interest on PF for the financial year 2019-20 this year too. The government has decided to pay this interest in two installments instead of one lump sum. This interest is going to come in your PF account.
How much interest in the first installment
For the last financial year ie 2019-20, interest will be paid on PF at the rate of 8.50 percent, which is the lowest in 7 years. Currently 8.15 percent of the fixed rate of interest will be credited to EPF accounts. And the remaining 0.35 percent of its second installment will be deposited in the EPF accounts of all shareholders by December at the end of the year.
