What is the matter

In fact, like every time under the Provident Fund Organization (EPFO), the working employees are going to get interest on PF for the financial year 2019-20 this year too. The government has decided to pay this interest in two installments instead of one lump sum. This interest is going to come in your PF account.

How much interest in the first installment

For the last financial year ie 2019-20, interest will be paid on PF at the rate of 8.50 percent, which is the lowest in 7 years. Currently 8.15 percent of the fixed rate of interest will be credited to EPF accounts. And the remaining 0.35 percent of its second installment will be deposited in the EPF accounts of all shareholders by December at the end of the year. Let me tell you here that till now the government has been paying in lump sum. And this payment has been made to about 6 crore people, now interest will be paid to these 6 crore people in two installments.

When the link is open, you will get the option of e-passbook in the blue dashboard on the right side.

The login ID and password will be available on this link. In this option, you have to enter the UAN number and enter your password.
After login, you have to select the member id to get your passbook information in the next step. Let us know that the passbook is in PDF format which can be easily downloaded.

—If your UAN is registered with EPFO, then your latest contribution and PF balance will be received through the message.

For example, if you need information in Hindi, then you can send EPFOHO UAN HIN to 7738299899.

Likewise, to get information through missed call, give a missed call on 011-22901406 from the registered mobile number. However, it is important to have a bank account, PAN and Aadhaar linked to UAN.
